GWEN CONLEY AND HER "UNIQUE" TRAINING & COACHING STYLE
A very dedicated, vocal coach who is passionate
about the growth of each student; stressing the importance of regular, daily, vocal exercise, at home, to strengthen
the voice and to develop good ear-training. She shares her professional expertise witheach student, teaching them
to sing R&B, Pop, Gospel & Jazz with passion and confidence; building their singing skills with her excellent breathing technique which
her students find extremely beneficial.
She builds
each of her students' repertoires (their library of songs) with the songs they truly love. and desperately
want to learn how to sing, teaching them to believe in themselves in proportions they never thought possible.
She also teaches her students to read music, by
making the process very simple and very clear. "Knowing
theory is a big builder of student confidence, as it allows them to communicate with other professional musicians with mutual respect, enhancing the process of creating beautiful music together.
SHE TRAINS ALL HER STUDENTS TO HIT THEIR TARGETED PRACTICE SESSIONS ON A DAILY
BASIS. Her students love their "targeted" practice sessions which gives them incredible results. Gwen realizes that - the wonderful raw talent must be nurtured gently, yet firmly - firmly to achieve real progress,
yet gently, to build the emotional strength of character. As the skills begin to manifest from these long
hours of work, they will need an outlet for expression. Enter "personal appearances" time! She places "strong emphasis" on having students perform 1-3 times per month to overcome stage fright and build immeasurable stage presence, charisma and guts. She gives each student individual
coaching to develop their own unique performance style.

Several of Gwen's
vocal students have appeared on the Jay Leno Show. She proudly
acknowledges that one of her students, Allison Foster, performed with pleasure with Luther Vandross' former band
"Change" at one of the inaugural balls for President Barak Obama.
She works with beginners as well as professionals; singles, duos, and groups; staying current
with most trends in R&B, pop, gospel and jazz. She introduces students
to the best of "back-in-the-day hits "as well... which they love! She
encourages all of her vocal students to stay focused on the "business" aspect of the recording
industry in order to reap the financial benefits of their creativity.
"Discover how "awesome" it feels to take your bows while your audience is standing, screaming for more as you confidently, with heart-felt gratitude
and exhilaration take more bows... realizing how hard you worked to earn it.
BIG REWARDS! "Encore... encore!" Gwen Conley

Gwen and Ray Charles having
a laugh and enjoying a few jokes after a very successful and cherished jingle session
for Maxwell House coffee.
Professional moments like these are to be cherished forever. Great, great fun!

Before studying with Gwen Conley I'd worked many years on Broadway and traveled
with various artists singing background vocals. Now that I am a student of Gwen's I am learning to use my vocal
instrument with more confidence and it sounds better everyday. I look forward to being a lead singer. I'm becoming a
lot more aware of the what I am doing and learning to sing with the Power of Intention and ease. Gwen has such a passion
for her work and there's no doubt in my mind that applying her techniques has been a blessing to me vocally. I'm
now doing an incredible amount of gigs with total confidence and enjoying it all. Thank you, Gwen. Allison

Having the best
time with one of the world's most beloved icons. Gwen enjoys her idol, Bill Cosby, a few minutes after a jingle session
for Coca-Cola. How cool!!!

As a singer I already
had pretty decent singing skills before I came to Ms. Conley, but I just lacked the stage confidence that comes from a unique
singing style. She worked with me for about 3 months and a half and took me to a higher level in both areas. She
stressed how important it is to perform regularly - at least once a week - not only to build but to remain confident.
I will be sure to return to her for my tune-ups between road trips - just to keep in shape! Gwen's the best voice coach
I've ever had. She's simply the best! Ricardo A.

I wanted to learn R&B. I needed singing training to learn R&B soul. I also
needed my accent worked on for singing R&B. I am getting more confidence when I work with Ms. Gwen. She is tough and
makes me work hard to sing R&B. This is good for me. I can't believe my progress sometimes. Toshiko

After our tour of Germany and Singapore which were the last stops
before returning to the states, I realized I needed a voice tune-up after being away for so long. I always return to
Gwen to get me back "on point". She's my favorite and she is the best. Sean Vanderwilt

"I love Gwen! I came last year from Seoul, Korea to learn
to sing R&B and found her in the Backstage Magazine and saw her website on the internet. I didn't know her but her
professional expertise gave me the courage to win auditions. I will return to Korea to teach R&B.
I love performing now! Gwen is an awesome voice coach" who pushes you very hard to be the best you can be! Kelly
